She was just sitting there, looking past the tawdry brocaded curtains at a girl her own age getting her fortune told. It was a Saturday night, after all.

One of my favourite places at the Academy is on the 11th floor. There's a balcony out there, where I did some drawings from (like part of the construction site I talked about 2 days ago). An easy way to get up there is through the 10th floor fire escape, which has this awesome view.

Funny how we seldom stop
to notice
the beauty of life.
Rushing here, rushing there.
Never a moment's pause,
to stand still
and bask in the simple
pleasures of life.
(I love how the cluster of leaves perfectly fit into
the shape of the sun and how they contrast
with the setting sun.)

"The Outlier"
Honeymoon Bay, TAS
Honeymoon Bay is a quaint, off-the-track bay in Hobart (Tasmania). Tasmania itself is one of the most beautiful places in the world and much of it remains untouched and natural. Though it's hard to make out, there is a family of three on the left and an unknown stranger on the right. I like the fact that the man of the family has a dSLR too=). I had to keep the shutter speed quick to reduce the lense's exposure to the sun. Thankfully my camera is still functioning!

Exposure: 1/400s
