Bicycle shop

Right next to one of my favourite coffee places in the city. :)

"Hot Ride"
Bourke Street, VIC

Aperture: f/5.6|Shutter Speed: 1/15s

So Bourke Street is one of the main street's in the CBD. The major departmental stores are here and basically lots of stuff goes on. There was a couple taking their wedding shots on the other side and buskers and what not perform here.

Anyway, Melbourne not only loves coffee but also bikes. And by bikes I mean customised, single-speed bikes like the one above. They are awesome! I wish I had a bike like that. Hum.

June: Argh I knowwww. I am becoming addicted to Vivid mode. I am becoming addicted to photography. I like your picture! It is so quirky and you used the Rule of Thirds=). Whose feet are those?

Jing: Woww those are a lot of bicycles! They look kinda old school though? And why are they all the same? Is it a rental shop?

Haha come to think of it... it probably IS a rental shop. That would make sense! :)

June, I like the picture. Very cute. Yeah - who's feet are those?

And Jian, I really liked the picture. You managed to capture the sense of motion of the pedestrians. Is Melbourne a pedestrian city? It sure seems like it.

Jing: I actually wanted to capture the nice single speed bike with the purple rims. But now that you mention the'motion', I guess I unintentionally did? haha. People walk everywhere here, especially in the inner CBD because cars aren't allowed in it. There is a tram network too.
