Sorry for the predated pictures. I thought I'd share more of an insight into what we do when the exams come!

Anyway, this is the Design Lab in the Block D of the Engineering Building. It is open for use 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Vast space and whiteboards are available.

Since extended hours (till 3am) end in the final week of exams (when most people except the unlucky few are done) I need a space to study.

Well here it is=]

So my exams ended on Thursday and I am here in Melbourne for a few more days. This boot belongs to Karen. She is part of the Overseas Christian Fellowship (OCF) and volunteers to give out coffee to exam goers every evening. Since the OCF organised a scavenger hunt on Friday, I decided to check it out.

Being born a Buddhist, I've always wondered what Christianity is like. I am not a practising Buddhist and much rather spectate than participate. Anyhow, chatting with the OCF members was an eye opening experience. It is so good getting a different perspective on religion and the people I met were all quite a jolly bunch!

One of the chaps called Nicky told me to read this book called 'The Lotus And The Cross" which presents a hypothetical conversation between the Lord Buddha, Jesus Christ and a girl called Priya.

The space between Christianity and Buddhism. I think it's a good space.

Sunset through a railing
Miami, FL

Chris and Gil look like statues here. We're chased the sunset around the island, then came home for the grand finale on my balcony. :)

I took some other really nice shots. This one isn't even my favourite - it just fit the theme the best. I'll put them up on facebook soon so you guys can see them.

Overprepared
Swarthmore, PA

We were SO prepared. We were out on the roof of the engineering building, with thermoses of hot chocolate, lots and lots of blankets, and the pillows from the Hicks couches. It was very comfortable. But no show. :( At about 5 we gave up and went to a diner.

These are my friends Janet and Julia, who stayed up with me. Janet made the hot chocolate. The thumbs up is pretty much her signature pose.

Ok I'm back...for the moment. I decided to take some pictures after a prolonged hiatus.

Anyway, ANZ (Australia & New Zeland) Bank is an Australian bank. They moved into this swanky new building. I cycled past it and I could even smell the freshly lacquered wood panels!!

So, we all know that the Global Financial Crisis is still on at the moment and I like how the reflection of the building is all murky and fuzzy. Could it possibly reflect the true state of ANZ in this current climate?

I'd crop the picture but I'm lazy.
