Philadelphia, PA
So this is the construction site for next to the art school I'm taking summer classes at (PAFA - Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts). I walk past it a few times a week, and I've actually had to draw parts of of it for my cityscape drawing class. I think its because of that class that I've started becoming interested in cityscape artwork/photographs... and I really liked the verticals in this picture.

hawaiian breeze in new york.
it. was. hot. today.
a very-really-way-too-hot-i-might-melt-into-my-skin-and-sweat day.
some rain might be nice.
a lot of rain would be better.
meanwhile, the fans are going.

"Your Tree From Now On"
Edgewood Avenue, New Haven, CT
There wasn't any tree in the empty parking lot but like the ceaseless city that rises each morning to the light, the sparrows found one anyway. Skedaddled a bare two minutes later.

All the greenery around my apartment complex is always lit up at night with hues of red, yellow, and blue. Guess it makes it interesting for those who pass by every night :)

Melbourne, VIC
I live in Carlton, which is a suburb in Melbourne. Across my apartment is a park called the 'Carlton Gardens' and it houses the Melbourne Museum and also a beautiful garden as the name suggests. This was taken on a lovely sunny Winter afternoon, which is rare considering it is rainy and cloudy most of the time! A great place to 'capture the moment' if one is getting hitched sometime soon.
