Kohlberg
Swarthmore, PA
I've heard that this is one of the most expensive buildings on campus, purely because of the stone they chose to use - it was imported from Europe. Kind of ridiculous?
Either way, this scene was my first proper attempt at using pen to draw. If I ever finish it up, I might show it to you guys.

"A Meeting"
Intersection of Frue Plads and Fiolestrade, København
The famous Danish atomist of the Manhattan Project, Niels Bohr, was said to derive his best ideas from walking around Copenhagen, no matter the season. In the midst of the German occupation in 1941, Werner Heisenberg, Bohr's mentee/close friend paid a mysterious visit to Copenhagen only to take a short walk around the city with Bohr before leaving abruptly. Heisenberg was German, Bohr, Jewish. No one ever knew what exactly happened during that secret meeting except the fact that relations between the two became considerably strained after that.
The atomic bomb was dropped in Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1947.
Bohr's honorary bust stands 10 metres away from where the two men in the picture are standing.
