Ok so I looked outside my window and saw the above. I tend to get excited when I witness doctor people in action. So i grabbed my camera!
Turns out it was just a medical transport van taking this patient to the cancer building opposite the road! I wish him/her the best of luck with treatment!

Good day today. Met some SEALNetters for lunch at MIT, then wandered around looking at buildings. Today was just a really really busy day. Lots of people picked today to hang out. Ran into a high school classmate on the steps of Widener Library.
I am in absolutely love with Eero Saarinen's chapel at MIT. I went to see it twice. It is so so beautiful, and definitely made it on the list of my favourite buildings ever. My friend Illy's apartment is also right across the street from Carpenter, which is I think the only building designed by Le Corbusier in America. SO WONDERFUL. I love it.
And its really funny, because I was told that MIT was ugly and that I'd hate it - but I think its really awesome. Maybe its because I don't go to school there. The Gehry building (Stata) was a little weird. I like the bottom lobby part of the Green building.
Brutalist architecture is awesome. :)
I could totally live here. The weather is really offputting though. Today it rained, so I left my camera in, which is why I don't have pictures of all these amazing buildings. I ended up having to get myself a Harvard umbrella, and then I had to carry that around MIT. People thought I was a complete tool. :P
