Crown Candy Kitchen is something of a St. Louis trademark. Hidden away in the many gray belts of the city, you'd never know you've reached it until you see 40 or so people happily slurping malt shakes and sundaes in the vintage booths. There were charming handwritten paper menus above the counter, and a juke box in the heart of the café!
